Louise G. Holz

Louise Dorre Green Holz, 80, of Baltimore, Md., who assisted in the establishment of the highly regarded Center for Historic Preservation at Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006, at the Gilchrist Hospice Center in Baltimore.

Louise Holz is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jack A. Holz of Baltimore; three children, Barbara Holz Manning of Boston, Mass., Margaret "Lolly" Holz Strudwick of Baltimore and Jack Holz Jr. of Upperville; and five grandchildren.

Burial will take place in Spring Hill Cemetery, Charleston, W.Va., on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. The procession will leave Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home, Charles-ton, at 10:30 a.m.

A special memorial tribute will be held in Baltimore at St. An-drew's Christian Community, 5802 Roland Ave., on Friday, Oct. 27, at 1 p.m.
